Laura Thompson began her career as an ICU RN in 1994. She is originally from New York but moved to the South to continue her education. She graduated with her Masters in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women, obtaining her board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2003. In 2015, she graduated with a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA. For over 20 years, she has practiced Primary Care Family Medicine in the Memphis area. She is a decorated member of both the American Nurses Association and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
